About Me

Hi, my name is Michelle Kemp, I am a full time mother of three beautiful children (6, 9 and 1 year). As well as the wife of the most handsome, loving and supportive husband. The wee hours left over...I am releasing my artistic energy into photography!

I am an on location natural light photographer located in Pleasant Grove, UT. I eat, sleep, and breath photography. There is something about catching the sweet memories we have together...having something to look back on to remember...it makes me smile! Thanks to the encouragement of my amazing husband as well as my wonderful family and friends, I am excited to announce the beginning of Rusty Bucket Photography! This has been a life long dream of mine becoming a reality! Why the name Rusty Bucket? A rusty bucket is full of character, colorful, showing all its beauty in the life lived! This, is my passion, capturing the "rusty bucket" in all of us! So...enjoy the blog...if you like what you see...send me line!

Sincerely,
Michelle Bratt Kemp

Travis and Caitlin are Engaged!!!

From Blogger Pictures

They were an absolute blast to be with! When we first reached the location where we'd be shooting...they expressed how they were a bit nervous....it shocked me...why...can't you see...they have no reason to be nervous...they're gorgeous! Besides...I'm the one that should be nervous...I have yet to go to a shoot where I haven't been slightly hyperventilating...because I'm scared I'll mess up...or forget something! They, like so many, were so easy to work with...and patient with me checking my notes every five minutes! Thank you Travis and Caitlin! You two make a fantastic couple! Can't wait for the big wedding day!

OK...so for most shoots...I always like to try something thats out of the box...usually something I or they have never done before...just to see how it turns out...they or I may never use it...but it's just fun...and every once in a while you get a pretty sweet modely looking shot! And it's just fun to add to my portfolio...and something for them to have fun with! Here's the one with Travis and Catlin...I loved how it turned out...what perfume or cologne are they promoting? Just kidding...the clouds were awesome that day!
