About Me

Hi, my name is Michelle Kemp, I am a full time mother of three beautiful children (6, 9 and 1 year). As well as the wife of the most handsome, loving and supportive husband. The wee hours left over...I am releasing my artistic energy into photography!

I am an on location natural light photographer located in Pleasant Grove, UT. I eat, sleep, and breath photography. There is something about catching the sweet memories we have together...having something to look back on to remember...it makes me smile! Thanks to the encouragement of my amazing husband as well as my wonderful family and friends, I am excited to announce the beginning of Rusty Bucket Photography! This has been a life long dream of mine becoming a reality! Why the name Rusty Bucket? A rusty bucket is full of character, colorful, showing all its beauty in the life lived! This, is my passion, capturing the "rusty bucket" in all of us! So...enjoy the blog...if you like what you see...send me line!

Sincerely,
Michelle Bratt Kemp

Justin's Senior Session!

From Everyday Mojo

I have really enjoyed the opportunity to capture all these graduating Seniors! There's so much character and personality! It's such a pivotal moment...graduation...so much happens...responsibilities...dreams...and memories are all coming together! The possibilities seem to be endless...as they should be! And for me...I love to capture all that...who they have been...and what they are soon to become! Justin was a great one to capture...so funny...and like so many...so talented! Thank you Justin and Chelsea!

When I told Justin I wanted a jumping picture...he wasn't exactly sure why...he said he'd look like a "ferry"...but obliged my goofy request...I see nothing resembling a "ferry"...just some awesome hops!

Welcome Alexis!

From Everyday Mojo
Little Alexis has been much anticipated! Her parents and brother...have been long time friends of ours. Ever since I became pregnant with Jocelyn I've been anxious for them to have another little one. My son, Brody's best buddy is Kaleb, Alexis' brother...so it only seemed right that my daughter Jocelyn needed a best buddy too from this awesome family! Finally little Alexis made it! And we couldn't be more excited! Granted it will take a year or two for Jocelyn and Alexis to truly enjoy each other...we couldn't be more happy. Congratulations Brad and Kim...and welcome to this big world Alexis!

Preston...Going Places!

From Everyday Mojo
In the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to do several senior sessions...and all so good looking! Preston being one of them! The day of Preston's session...the snow came down like we were in the middle of January! We had planned to meet at a place where we could stay under coverings. But just before the shoot...the snow stopped...and we had fantastic lighting for some great shots! Preston was a real trooper to try everything! But man is he one talented kid...Preston, you are definitely going places!
