About Me

Hi, my name is Michelle Kemp, I am a full time mother of three beautiful children (6, 9 and 1 year). As well as the wife of the most handsome, loving and supportive husband. The wee hours left over...I am releasing my artistic energy into photography!

I am an on location natural light photographer located in Pleasant Grove, UT. I eat, sleep, and breath photography. There is something about catching the sweet memories we have together...having something to look back on to remember...it makes me smile! Thanks to the encouragement of my amazing husband as well as my wonderful family and friends, I am excited to announce the beginning of Rusty Bucket Photography! This has been a life long dream of mine becoming a reality! Why the name Rusty Bucket? A rusty bucket is full of character, colorful, showing all its beauty in the life lived! This, is my passion, capturing the "rusty bucket" in all of us! So...enjoy the blog...if you like what you see...send me line!

Sincerely,
Michelle Bratt Kemp

Missionary Amanda!

From Everyday Mojo

Amanda...is ready to say "Up up and away!" She will be heading off on a new adventure...serving an LDS mission in Europe! Serving a mission is something that Mike and I would really like to do after our children our raised and grown...it just sounds so adventurous...as well as it is a way we can help others...as we have been helped by so many! So I can't tell you how excited I was when cousin Amanda asked if I'd snap a few missionary shots! And gosh...there were so many shots that turned out...I couldn't choose...so here ya go Amanda!

I know that Amanda will be a great missionary...she has so many fantastic qualities about her...so loving and giving...understanding...empathetic and so much more. What a privilege it was to be able to spend an hour with her...I learned so much...and came away wanting to be a better person! Thank you Amanda...and we wish you the very best!

Megan's Bridals

From Rusty Bucket Photography
Can I just say I LOVE this job...if I can call it a job! I get to get away for a while...be creative...and hang out with beautiful people...such as our sweet bride Megan and her family! Oh...we really didn't know if the weather was going to allow our scheduled bridals...raining...then sunny...then raining...we almost postponed the whole shoot...but then the clouds parted...the rain stopped and we were able to get some fantastic shots! It was a heck of a lot of fun...and oh she's so pretty! Thank you Megan....can't wait for wedding day!

Meet the Grays!

From Rusty Bucket Photography

Russ, Jen and their family hold a very special place in our hearts. They are the type of people who would bend over backwards for you...as they have for us. We just can't say enough good about them...we are incredibly grateful! Russ is in the army and will be deployed in just a few days. I still am baffled at the strength men like Russell and their families have. So much sacrifice and love. They are a strength to me...a reminder of my blessings...and the price that is paid for me to enjoy so much. I am also reminded of how small my trials really are.

I was given the sweet opportunity of capturing a few family pics before he ships off...it was truly an honor and pleasure!
