About Me



Hi, my name is Michelle Kemp, I am a full time mother of two bouncing, beautiful children (4 and 6). As well as the wife of the most handsome, loving and supportive husband. The wee hours left over...I am releasing my artistic energy into photography!

I am an on location natural light photographer located in Pleasant Grove, UT. I eat, sleep, and breath photography. There is something about catching the sweet memories we have together...having something to look back on to remember...it makes me smile! Thanks to the encouragement of my amazing husband as well as my wonderful family and friends, I am excited to announce the beginning of Rusty Bucket Photography! This has been a life long dream of mine becoming a reality! Why the name Rusty Bucket? A rusty bucket is full of character, colorful, showing all its beauty in the life lived! I can't believe it! I have actually booked up for the remainder of the year! With that said...I just wanted to thank you all for such a fantastic year! 2011...knock on wood...has been my favorite year in this business so far! Thank you all!

Introducing the Pakolani Family!

Can I just say how much I loved doing this family's photo shoot! Just a fun love'n family! They actually found me through my husband, Mike...Mrs. Pakolani was Mike's Professor at UVU. So as you can imagine...the pressure was on to do a good job. But as soon as I began getting to know them at the shoot...the pressure immediately faded. They were all so very warm and gracious....the kind of people you'd hope would move in next door. So thank you Pakolani's you were wonderful!

Michelle is such a wonderful photographer. We haven't done family pics for 5 years and so the whole ordeal prior to the shoot was chaotic but she has such a natural gift, talent, knack for knowing what works and how to capture the essence of our family. Loved the experience and love love the pictures. Michelle, thank you so very much for these memories.What a gift!
